ICGH is the inpatient and outpatient treatment provider for behavioral health services at our Carolina Wellness Centers across NC. Integrated Care of Greater Hickory (ICGH) and the ICGH Treatment Centers across North Carolina are treatment facilities focused on providing comprehensive support to adults, children, and adolescents, as well as their families, struggling with various behavioral health conditions, including addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and others. Its overarching mission is to facilitate lifelong recovery through a variety of interventions, not merely treatment. They aim to stabilize patients' lives and help them live happily and freely outside the clinic, following a philosophy of "Recovery - not treatment.”
ICGH's treatment approach is integrated and holistic, including medication management, counseling, peer support, recovery housing, and transportation, among other resources. Their medication management and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) includes the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders and other behavioral problems like anxiety or depression. Medications containing buprenorphine, such as Suboxone and Zubsolv, are commonly used for opioid use disorders. They also have an on-site pharmacy that can provide these medications at low cost or free to the uninsured depending on program requirements and county participation.
Their behavioral health specialists are licensed professionals who work with individuals, couples, and families to find solutions for their problems. These counselors specialize in Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, and other behavioral health conditions. They also have specialists who work with adolescents for a multitude of conditions.
ICGH also offers Peer Support Services provided by Certified Peer Support Specialists. These are individuals with significant life-altering, lived experience who support others dealing with struggles related to mental health, psychological trauma, or substance use.
In addition to basic services, ICGH offers enhanced services like the Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Programs (SAIOP) and Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT). These intensive programs allow those struggling with addiction to receive the extensive care necessary to start the recovery process, without needing to attend an inpatient detox program.
Furthermore, they offer child and adolescent mental health services, which can be accessed online or in-person. This allows younger individuals to also benefit from the integrated treatment plans provided by ICGH, especially TF-CBT for children as young as three years old.
ICGH operates across North Carolina. Their services are accessible to all, including those without insurance, due to state and federal funding.
